Seguin resident Alex Chidley is assisting locals to cover the cost of pricey mobility equipment by providing free used equipment.
"I just want to help people that's all," said Chidley.
For about 20 years, he has been collecting various mobility aids from wheelchairs to canes at the Seguin Pioneer United Church.
"The (Parry Sound) Legion used to do it. They used to do hospital beds, but they disbanded because the hospital beds were way too heavy for the people to carry … and then I took over," said Chidley.
Residents in need of mobility equipment can contact Chidley at 705-732-2987. Those looking to donate equipment can reach him at the same number.
