Heartbreaking: Police charged a city resident is facing charges after her children called 9-1-1 two days in a row because she’d allegedly overdosed, Sunday. Stephanie Lauttamus, 34, 305 Murphy Ave., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment, police said. The kids said they found their mother in the kitchen, face down, and one of them said she was unconscious, snoring but with a pulse. Police said her pupils were pinpoints, and Steubenville firefighters/EMS had to revive her with 6 mg of Narcan. Police said they found a metal pipe, a push rod and chore boy in a box bsided her, and said she told firefighters she’d used heroin.

Hanging on: An Alexander Manor resident said his girlfriend's ex showed up at his house, drunk, threatening him, Sunday. He said the ex told him, "He will get him and kill him, whether it be today or tomorrow," police said. He said the ex was at his residence twice that day, walking around the house and looking around as if he was waiting" for him to come out.

Overindulged: A male was passed out in the grass at the intersection of North and Fifth streets, Sunday. Police said they were able to awaken the man, who they described as "highly intoxicated and … very hard to understand." He was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Napping: Callers reported a man was passed out under the Market Street Bridge, but he told police he was "laying in the grass, resting, and that everything was OK," Sunday.

Booked: A caller reported a man assaulting a woman in the 600 block of Oakmont Avenue, Sunday. Police said the front door was open when they arrived and two women were still inside the residence, one of them with a cut under one eye, with bleeding and swelling above and below it. The victim said the male forced the front door open and when she tried to closed it, he hit it, shoving it into her. Once inside she said he hit her, and police said the living room furniture was broken. The homeowner told police "she did not want to answer questions and became argumentative," police said. Police said the victim initially "denied anything going on and did not wish to pursue any charges," but five hours later reported she’d changed her mind. Dallas J. Fleshman, 29, 730 Rosswell Ave., was booked into the county jail on an assault charge.

Nuisance: A Mingo Junction woman told deputies her husband came home drunk and wouldn't leave her alone, Sunday. She said he came into the bedroom while she was trying to sleep and turned the lights on, and when she told him to go to the rec room and sleep he refused. Her husband said he was trying to talk to his wife but they ended up arguing instead.

Made her cry: A Mingo Junction teen locked herself in her bathroom after her mother threatened to assault because she wasn't listening, Monday. Mom said nothing physical happened. Deputies said they could hear the girl in the bathroom, crying, but opened the door for them. She said her mother had told her she was leaving for the night, and when she told her if she left she was calling her father, her mother began yelling so she ran into the bathroom and hid. Deputies arranged for the child to stay with another family member for the night.
